The South Korean romantic comedy Dynamite Kiss aired episodes 9 and 10 on SBS TV on December 10 and 11, 2025. The series follows a twice weekly schedule, with new installments arriving every Wednesday and Thursday at 9 pm KST.
Episodes 11 and 12 are slated for release on December 17 and 18. Directed by Kim Jae-hyun and written by Ha Yoon-ah and Tae Kyung-min, Dynamite Kiss features Jang Ki-yong and Ahn Eun-jin in the lead roles.
The story centers on Ko Da-rim, a woman who pretends to be a mother, and her meticulous team leader, Kong Ji-hyeok. Their relationship takes an unexpected turn after a surprising kiss, pulling the two into a complicated mix of workplace friction and growing emotional ties.
What to expect in the upcoming episodes of Dynamite Kiss
The preview of next episodes of Dynamite Kiss teases a major shift in both romance and conflict. Ji-hyeok and Da-rim officially begin their relationship, after his heartfelt confession.
However, their newfound happiness is quickly overshadowed by escalating trouble at the company. It faces intense protests as both the TF team and the CS team are pushed to work together. As tensions peak and protesters to storm the office, Da rim tries to calm the crowd but ends up becoming their target.
Amid the chaos, Ji-hyeok’s half sister Ji-hye continues to fuel the conflict. She is seen blaming Da-rim, calling her the troublemaker Ji-hyeok has fallen for. Hinting that she may have played a role in triggering the crisis, hoping to use Da-rim to undermine Ji hyeok’s rising position.
Later, the preview shows Da-rim reassuring Ji-hyeok that he is no longer alone. She promises to stand by him, suggesting that the coming episodes will deepen both their romantic bond as they face the challenge together.
Dynamite Kiss episodes 9 and 10 recap: Truth comes out and a fiery confession seal Da-rim and Ji-hyeok’s romance
Episode 9 of Dynamite Kiss begins with Ji-hyeok watching Da-rim interact with Kim Seon-u and his son Jun-ho. When Jun-ho calls Da-rim “aunty” and friends then tease Seon-u and Da-rim about getting married, Ji-hyeok realizes she is not Seon-u’s wife nor Jun-ho’s mother.
Later during the engagement, Ji-hyeok is distracted and keeps thinking about Da-rim’s real situation. His mother suddenly pretends to faint to stop the wedding, hoping to keep her son from being used by his father and later urges him to marry only for love.
The next day, Ha-yeong visits Ji-hyeok to ask about his mother. Instead, he confronts her about how long she has known about Seon-u and Da-rim’s fabricated marriage. Shocked, she admits she has known from the beginning and confesses her own feelings for Seon-u.
Ji-hyeok promises he will handle the situation but asks her not to reveal that he knows the truth. Meanwhile, looking at their positioning from outside Da-rim misunderstandings and believe they are kissing.
After Ha-yeong leaves, Da-rim takes the report to Ji-hyeok, only for him to harshly criticize her again. He then demands to know whether she is truly Seon-u’s wife. Da-rim breaks down in tears and tries to explain, but Ji-hyeok dismisses her as a liar and tells her she will be fired the next day.
Da-rim goes to the hospital to meet her mother but cannot bring herself to explain anything. That night, Da-rim stands in the rain outside Ji-hyeok’s home, pleading for one chance to explain herself. He comes down with an umbrella and takes her inside.
Over tea, she tells him everything. She explains that taking the job has been her only choice. Ji-hyeok listens quietly and tells her he will think about it. Da-rim leaves, still upset.
She sits on a bench outside her house, where Seon-u finds her knowing that Ji-hyeok has discovered the truth. He comforts her and says that perhaps ending the lie is for the best. He then also confesses that he likes her but has never said so to avoid losing their friendship. He tells her she can answer him whenever she is ready.
The next day, Ji-hyeok and Da-rim head out for an interview related to their ongoing project. Seon-u, the project’s photographer, joins them. During the interview, Ji-hyeok and Seon-u begin comparing their contributions, subtly competing for Da-rim’s attention.
After the event, Seon-u invites Da-rim to dinner. Ji-hyeok overhears and calls her to his office. He questions her about the project to delay her. Then as she is about to leave he leans in to kiss her.
Shocked, Da-rim pushes him away and scolds him for assuming she is easy just because he knows her secret. He insists he genuinely likes her, but she brings up his engagement to Ha-yeong and leaves.
Da-rim initially thinks Ji-hyeok is lying or acting out of revenge. However, the next morning she sees another teammate’s interaction with Ji-hyeok in his office and realizes she has likely misunderstood the situation with Ha-yeong. This makes her reconsider whether Ji-hyeok’s confession is sincere.
Later, Ji-hyeok begins listing the reasons he likes her. He praises her leadership, her ability to motivate people, calls her beautiful and and names many other qualities that make him like her. Da-rim becomes flustered and asks him to stop.
Meanwhile, both mothers are discharged from the hospital. They have grown close during their stay and after discharge, Ji-hyeok’s mother decides to move in with Da-rim’s mother. Only at discharge do Da-rim and Ji-hyeok discover this situation and surprised.
At Da-rim’s home, Seon-u cooks an elaborate dinner and impresses both mothers with his cooking. Da-rim’s mother even jokes that she wishes he could be her son-in-law, making Ji-hyeok uncomfortable. The two men start competing again.
Ji-hyeok tries to keep up by cutting fruit, taking on chores such as doing dishes, taking out the trash and changing a light bulb. Watching him, Ji-hyeok’s mother becomes certain that her son has feelings for Da-rim and encourages it.
Elsewhere, Ji-hyeok’s father plans to appoint him vice president of Natural Bebe. This angers Ji-hyeok’s half-sister, Ji-hye. She makes alliance with Ha-yeong’s elder brother, who once has dated her, to bring down both Ji-hyeok and his father.
Ha-yeong later organizes an exhibition of Seon-u’s work for Natural Bebe’s campaign. During the event, Ji-hyeok goes to his office to clean his pants after a child spills liquid on them.
There he discovers a man sent by Ji-hye and her ally, attempting to set the office on fire. Ji-hyeok tries to stop him but is struck on the head and collapses. The man sets the fire and flees.
The fire alarm goes off and everyone evacuates the place. Suddenly Da-rim remembers Ji-hyeok has gone upstairs and rushes inside. She finds him unconscious, pulls him outside and brings him back to his senses.
As he wakes, Ji-hyeok confesses that he loves her. Da-rim responds by kissing him, sealing their feelings for one another. With this ends the episode 10 of Dynamite Kiss.
