Arsenal are set for a huge injury boost before the turn of the year, according to reputed insider HandofArsenal.

The Gunners have had to cope with plenty of injuries during the early part of the season and they are presently without several key stars.

Among those is Kai Havertz, who has not played since the curtain-raiser against Manchester United in the Premier League in August.

Havertz suffered a setback in his recovery from a knee injury last month, but he is very optimistic of returning to the pitch before January.

The German is working hard away from the main group and anticipates to be involved in full training with the team in the coming days.

Arsenal have Viktor Gyokeres, Gabriel Jesus and Mikel Merino as striking options, and are expected to handle Havertz with extra caution.

The former Chelsea man could be restricted to cameo roles first. He may not return to the starting XI unless he is deemed fully match fit.
