The fantasy football playoffs are here in most leagues. With the championship in sight, the waiver wire in Week 15 could be the difference between having a quality player available in Week 17 or being forced to play a deep depth piece on a prayer.
As such, Sportskeeda has compiled a list of running backs worth pursuing on the waiver wire in Week 15. Spoiler alert: this could be the best week in quite some time.
Thanks for the submission!

#4 – Dylan Sampson, Cleveland Browns (7.6% rostered)
Dylan Sampson didn’t have the prettiest game on the ground, earning just four yards and a fumble. However, his work through the air confirmed that Sampson is a go-to receiving back for Shedeur Sanders.
Sampson’s 64 receiving yard performance against the Tennessee Titans was his second game in three games of at least 59 receiving yards. You could do worse than Sampson.
#3 – Ollie Gordon II, Miami Dolphins (6.9% rostered)
At this point, if De’Von Achane misses significant time, it is just as likely that Ollie Gordon II would see extra carries as Jaylen Wright. Gordon scored a touchdown in limited touches behind Achane and has been waiting for his moment all season long.
If he gets a chance, he’ll do everything in his power to make an impression on the Miami Dolphins or another team if things don’t work out in Miami, which offers good upside for fantasy football managers.
#2 – Jaylen Wright, Miami Dolphins (1.8% rostered)
De’Von Achane is in line to start once again in Week 15 after Mike McDaniel explained that Achane could have finished the Week 14 performance in “an emergency.” As such, thanks to the Sunday ESPN report, many fantasy football managers will skip over Jaylen Wright.
However, if you have a spot to grab the back who earned 24 carries for 107 yards and a touchdown, you should do so out of precaution. If Achane suffers a setback and misses extended time, you’ll be ready to cash in.
#1 – Blake Corum, Los Angeles Rams (22.1% rostered)
Blake Corum only saw 12 carries against the Arizona Cardinals, but it was more than enough. The Los Angeles Rams appear to be testing the waters in their running back room, and as such, if you need a running back with breakout potential, Corum is the best option this week. After exploding in Week 15, there’s a decent chance that Sean McVay further tests Corum in future weeks.
As such, he’s a perfect bench backup option with starting upside for the next two weeks. If you want any chance of seeing Corum’s 128 yards and two touchdowns from a waiver wire running back again before the end of the fantasy football season, the Rams running back could be your best shot.
