Mourners have gathered to remember British-born Rabbi Eli Schlanger, one of the 15 people killed in a mass shooting at Sydney’s Bondi Beach on Sunday.
At his funeral, Schlanger’s death was described as an “unspeakable loss” for the Jewish community in Bondi.
His funeral was the first to be held for victims of the attack, which targeted an event celebrating the first night of Hanukkah.
