It was a breakout year for Chicago Cubs outfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong. He earned his first All-Star cap and while he slowed down during the second half of the season, still managed to record a 6.0 bWAR with 31 home runs and 95 RBIs in 157 games.
Helping him navigate through the grueling MLB season was his girlfriend, Hailey Lavelle. After spending the early months of the year cheering on her partner at ballparks, Lavelle has taken a break. She shared a story on her Instagram on Sunday, gleefully sunbathing poolside in a black and white printed two-piece bikini.

Lavelle and Crow-Armstrong were spotted together during the All-Star red carpet in July. Their meet-cute story was covered by several publications. The pair met during actress Vanessa Hudgens and former Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Cole Tucker’s wedding in December 2023.
Crow-Armostrong never shared a ballclub with Tucker. But was bunkmates with his younger brother Carson, while playing 12U baseball for Team USA. He became familiar with the Tuckers and was one of the groomsmen during Tucker’s D-day. On the other side of the aisle was Lavelle, one of Hudgens’ bridesmaids.
The couple usually refrains from posting each other on social media. The only posts on Crow-Armstrong’s account are him wishing Lavelle on her birthday in 2024 and 2025. But Lavelle has showcased her support in the past, sharing snaps of the center fielder after they clinched the postseason.
Pete Crow-Armstrong joins Caleb Williams and Cole Bennett for charity handoff
Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams, through the Caleb Cares foundation, collaborated with multi-media company Lyrical Lemonade, founded by Illinois-native record executive Cole Bennett, with special guest Pete Crow-Armstrong for the first-ever ‘Holiday Handoff’ organized for the underprivileged in the Chicago area on Sunday.
Crow-Armstrong reshared stories on his Instagram from the event. Williams, only a few hours earlier on Saturday night, was influential in the Bears clinching a game in overtime against archrivals Green Bay Packers.

This isn’t the first time that the Crow-Armstrong has interacted with the people in Chicago for charitable endeavors. Back in July, both he and Hailey pleasantly surprised a few kids selling lemonade to raise money for one of them to get hair like the Cubs center fielder.
