Cody Rhodes was a part of the losing team at Survivor Series: WarGames. The American Nightmare, along with the babyfaces, lost to Team Vision in the Men’s WarGames Match.
The ending left everyone stunned, as a hooded figure interfered in the match and took out CM Punk, allowing Bron Breakker to secure the victory for his team. While there have been many speculations, the identity of the masked individual has yet to be unveiled.

In a shocking turn of events, it could be someone who Cody is very familiar with. We’re talking about Ricky Saints, a real-life friend of The QB1. After his stint in AEW, Saints debuted in NXT in February this year. During his tenure on the developmental brand thus far, he has won the NXT and the North American Titles.
The Absolute lost the NXT Championship to Oba Femi at NXT Deadline last weekend. Following the defeat, the 35-year-old could be set to move to the main roster.
The Triple H-led creative team could use Saints’ real-life connection to The American Nightmare to introduce him to the main roster by revealing him to be the mystery attacker from Survivor Series: WarGames. That said, this is just speculation for now.
Cody Rhodes is set to face Oba Femi at Saturday Night’s Main Event
On last week’s episode of SmackDown, Cody Rhodes announced that he would be facing the winner of Saints vs. Femi at Deadline in a singles match at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
With The Ruler coming out on top against Saints, he will now face Rhodes this Saturday. Fans are excited for the massive match between the Undisputed WWE Champion and the NXT Champion.
This could be the perfect opportunity for Ricky Saints to debut on the main roster. The former AEW star could interrupt the match in a hooded getup and attack Cody Rhodes, costing him a potential victory against Femi. Saints could then take the mask off and reveal himself, sending shockwaves throughout the wrestling world.
That said, this scenario is only speculative at this point, and nothing has been confirmed. It remains to be seen what’s next for Ricky Saints in WWE.
