Damian Priest was attacked backstage on SmackDown. A female star ordered WWE officials to stay back while this attack was taking place.
Damian Priest has been feuding with Aleister Black for the past couple of weeks. This feud turned more personal after Zelina Vega got involved. Therefore, Rhea Ripley also got involved to help her former stablemate. Last week on SmackDown, The Terror Twins faced off and defeated Aleister Black and Zelina Vega.

Tonight on the blue brand, Priest kicked off the show. She started off by paying tribute to John Cena. However, he was soon interrupted by Zelina Vega, who called him a hypocrite. She also stated that Priest wasn’t the one who picked up the pinfall victory last week. Aleister Black’s music hits, but he attacked Priest from behind. The fight spilled to the outside. Damian took control with a South of Heaven chokeslam on the apron. Priest then pulled out a table from underneath the ring. Black hit the former World Champion with a steel chair and then put him through a table. Moments later, Priest was being helped to the back when Aleister Black attacked him again. Zelina Vega prevented WWE officials from stepping in, asking them to “stay back.” The former AEW champion then hit Priest with a Black Mass.
Damian Priest wants to face The Undertaker
Throughout his career, Damian Priest has often drawn comparisons with The Undertaker. This is because they both have a dark, mysterious gimmick. However, as it appears, Taker is Priest’s dream opponent.
During an appearance on Delivering Happiness Series on Prince St. Pizza’s YouTube channel, Priest was asked to name his dream opponent. The former World Champion picked The Undertaker.
“The easy answer is always like you could pick anybody, and it’s always Undertaker, man. That was who you should remember from back then. But no, uh, that guy was the reason why I fell in love with wrestling. It was his persona, the aura, and everything. So if I had to pick somebody, he’s always the easy answer, man. It remains to be seen if Priest will get his revenge on Aleister Black after what happened tonight.
