High-flying Cardiff welcome the Scarlets to the Arms Park tonight to kick off the festive derbies.
Both clubs have further Welsh derbies to come on Boxing Day and New Year’s Day, but neither will be looking beyond tonight’s clash – with Cardiff aiming to end the Scarlets’ strong run of form in the Welsh capital.
Cardiff’s last win on home soil against the west Walians was in 2021 at the Cardiff City Stadium, with their last win over the Scarlets at the Arms Park back in 2019.
Both sides are able to welcome back Wales internationals for tonight’s derby.
Cardiff have brought Cam Winnett and Mason Grady back into their back-three, while there also returns for Liam Belcher, Alex Mann and Taulupe Faletau.
As for the Scarlets, Blair Murray is back at full-back following his autumn exploits with Wales, while Dwayne Peel has also brought Tom Rogers, Johnny Williams and Gareth Davies back into his side.
Kick-off is at 7.45pm, with the match being broadcast on BBC 2 and Premier Sports 2. Or you can follow the game in the live blog below.
