Manchester United have opened talks with Bournemouth over the potential transfer of Antoine Semenyo next month, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Red Devils strengthened their attack with Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko last summer, but they are eyeing more attacking ammunition at the turn of the year.

Semenyo has been a revelation in the Premier League this term with seven goals and three assists, and it is claimed that he could be on the move this winter due to a Â£65m release clause in his deal.

The clause must be activated in the first 10 days of January and United are one of the clubs, who have contacted the Cherries to ask for information.

The Red Devils are not alone in the transfer pursuit with Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Manchester City also in the mix for his services.

Semenyo will reportedly make the final decision regarding his future. He could also decide to stay at Bournemouth for the rest of the season.
